Objectives
1. Welcoming people living with HIV/AIDS through:
– Human, moral, spiritual and social support;
– Courses, activities, training, skills and self-sustainability opportunities that contribute to raising self-esteem, physical and mental health.
2. Offer information and education regarding HIV/AIDS, aiming at prevention through:
– Informative lectures on HIV/AIDS in schools, communities, churches, youth groups, companies, health services, etc.;
-HIV/AIDS education and prevention actions in mass events and peripheral neighborhoods.
3. Advocacy on behalf of people living with HIV/AIDS through:
– Actions to protect the rights of people living with the HIV/AIDS virus;
– Use of media to denounce violations of the rights of HIV-positive people;
– Participation in instances of social control in order to protect the rights of those living with HIV/AIDS.
